Brian is the Owner/President/GM of the national power collegiate summer Amsterdam Mohawks.  He also runs the Northeast Recruiting Showcase, one of the top recruiting showcases in New York.  Brian was an assistant coach at then Division II power College of St. Rose from 1991-2003 and head coach of Amsterdam HS from 2003-2007 and from 2013 to present.  In addition, in 2015 he started the Empire State Prospect Games, a high school aged tournament in New York State which quickly turned into one of the largest tournaments of the summer in the Northeast.

Coach Bithorn has spent the past three summers in the highly competitive Perfect Game League (PGCBL) located in upstate New York. Bithorn served as Bench Coach for the Cooperstown Hawkeyes in 2013, the Glens Falls Golden Eagles in 2014, and as the pitching coach for the national power Amsterdam Mohawks in 2015.

He has also served as the pitching coach at Division II Dominican College in Nyack, NY from 2013-2015.  Karl was an also an assistant coach at St. Thomas University (FL) in 2010 and helped guide them to the Opening Round of the NAIA National Championships.

Bithorn was born and raised in Miami, Fl and graduated from American High School in 2005. He has been director of several baseball camps and community service projects in South Florida. Karl currently resides in New City, NY located in Rockland County.

Karl is the Great Nephew of legendary Puerto Rican baseball player Hiram Bithorn, who was the first Puerto Rican to play in Major League Baseball in 1943 for the Chicago Cubs.

A graduate of Coconut Creek High School, in Coconut Creek, Florida where he played for legendary high school coach, and MLB Scout, Tom Hysell. He later went on to play at Miami-Dade College and then later to Lincoln Memorial University, in Harrogate, TN. 

Coach Herb first began coaching little league baseball in the summer of 1996, while he was still playing at LMU.  After many years of coaching his own son's teams in Little League and Pony League, he moved on to coaching 9u travel baseball, and high school and collegiate players during the summertime with the Fort Lauderdale Superstars. He then created his own travel baseball organization called, The South Florida Rebels Baseball Club. The SF Rebels had grown to several teams from 9u-18u, as well as a collegiate team in a very short time. Since 2014, he has also served as an assistant coach at Coral Glades High School.

During the summertime, Coach Herb has partnered up with former Diamond Elite Baseball founder, Richard Miller, and together created Florida Spikes Baseball. A program that specializes in college placement and recruiting, travel teams, showcases and tournaments. Over the last few years, they have had nine of their players drafted to the MLB, and are responsible for over 180+ players signed to collegiate baseball scholarships all across the United States.

Coach Nation is a 2008 22nd round draft pick of the Seattle Mariners and has an extensive college and professional playing resume.  Nation, a right-handed pitcher, was a member of the 2005-08 Georgia Southern University Baseball Team.  Nation played three seasons with various Mariners Affiliates and then another three playing Independent baseball. In his six seasons in professional baseball he accumulated a 29-17 record as a relief pitcher and a 3.21 ERA.


Following his playing career Nation pursued his passion in coaching. In 2011 he was named the Assistant Coach of the East Georgia College Bobcats where he spent two seasons.  Nation has been the head coach of Middleton High School in Tampa, Fl for 2 years. Most recently Nation has been named an Assistant Coach with the University of Tampa’s Junior Varsity Team. Nation is also in his third season as Head Coach of the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs, part of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL). Nation lead the Diamond Dawgs to their best record in the program’s history, as well as winning the 2015 PGCBL Championship and ranked #16 nationally for Summer Collegiate Baseball Teams.
